Beth Van Hoesen
Beth Van Hoesen was born in Boise, Idaho in 1926. In 1951 she attended the California School of Fine Arts, studying under artists David Park and Clyfford Still. Van Hoesen is best known for her whimsical and playful drawings of animals and flowers, as well as portraits. Her depictions are always carefully crafted with nuance and simplicity, giving the work a timeless quality.
